Bed Bug Bite Photos
Bed bugs can look like mosquito bites so even if you have bites it is best to always verify the presence of bed bugs visually before treatment. Look for shed bed bug skins, fecal stains and blood stains around your bed, on your mattress, behind the headboard, and in the nightstand.
It is important to know that about 50% of the people bitten by bed bugs may not show welts as in these photos. In some cases it may take several days for welts to appear. The welts can be itchy and swollen. You can treat the symptoms with over the counter itch creams and Benedryl. As bed bug bite marks can scar, be careful to minimize itching and get medical attention if the itching is profound.
Make sure to call Allison Pest Control for a free bed bug inspection if you have itchy welts that sometime appear in lines or see any presence of bed bugs. As bed bugs will hide in the daylight you may never seen them, just their tell tail traces, so get professional help to identify and then exterminate them from your local bed bug specialist Allison Pest Control.
